Dear Support,

Could you please help us understand where the error "The specified S3 prefix 'BE05A8202A494B5E83A9C7E1381DC5ED' does not exist" we see stems from?
We have an SSIS package that sometimes copies millions of rows from SQL Server to Redshift using the "Fast load" feature of your provider. This copying may take 20 minutes or so to complete. From time to time (e.g. 10 minutes or so into the process) the package execution fails with the following error:

An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. An OLE DB record is available.
Source: "Intellisoft OLE DB Provider for Redshift"
Hresult: 0x80004005
Description: "ERROR: The specified S3 prefix '92E417E5318340A5B21295EB3048B4D4' does not exist
DETAIL:

error: The specified S3 prefix '92E417E5318340A5B21295EB3048B4D4' does not exist
code: 8001
context:
query: 2252458
location: s3_utility.cpp:552 process: padbmaster [pid=11675]
".
End Error

Provider version: 1.4.0.3420

The error is random and if the package is rerun, it may not appear (or appear for a different table).

What could be the reason to this behaviour?

Thanks you in advance.

Regards,
Alexander.

We are getting the same error intermittently too. Can someone from pgoledb respond to this please.

The issue might be caused by an unreliable connection, or some other reason. Could you run the PGNProfiler application and collect trace? Then see if the trace contains additional information about the issue.

Also, make sure that you updated the Redshift OLEDB provider to the latest build. The issue might have been already fixed in the latest build.
