PGNP Postgres SE 1.4.0.3640 x64 Installer Failing was created by jlgrogan22
Hello.
I am attempting to trial PGNP Postgres SE 1.4.0.3640 x64. However, the installer keeps dead ending with an "Installer Information" modal saying "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
I was hoping you might be able to provide guidance as to resolving this issue.
Thank you

Hello!
Yes, this is a known issue on some WinServer systems. It happens because the system does not have msvcr120.dll, and the installer is unable to copy the file. The resolution for the issue is to install VS 2013 Redistributable Package, freely available from MS: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 . Please download and install the package, and then repeat the PGNP installation.
